Postdoctoral Researcher in Computational Mathematics at Hong Kong Baptist University.
My research focuses on finite element and meshfree methods for partial differential equations, with emphasis on interface-coupled multiphysics, scalable solvers, and PDEs on curved surfaces and thin shells.
About Me
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Mathematics at Hong Kong Baptist University, hosted by Prof. Leevan Ling. My work combines numerical analysis, scalable algorithms, and reproducible scientific computing for partial differential equations.
My research spans stable and scalable finite element methods for interface-coupled multiphysics problems, including Stokes–Darcy, free-flow–poroelasticity, and FSI/ALE formulations, as well as meshfree strong-form discretizations for PDEs on curved surfaces and thin shells, including RBF collocation and RBF-FD methods.
Research Highlights
Finite Element Methods & Numerical Analysis
Stability and convergence analysis for finite element discretizations, including Nitsche methods, SAV schemes, domain decomposition, and partitioned time stepping.
Multiphysics Coupling & Scalable Solvers
Scalable algorithms for Stokes--Darcy, free-flow--poroelasticity, FSI/ALE, and other interface-coupled systems.
Meshfree Methods for Surface PDEs
RBF collocation, RBF-FD, and trajectory-based schemes for PDEs on curved surfaces, thin shells, and high-dimensional manifolds.
